“I see you later,” the words tumbled out incorrectly while I waved goodbye to a friend. Embarrassed, I turned back to correct my speaking when I realized what I had said.
“I see you.”
I repeated confidently out loud. My friend momentarily confused, spread a huge smile across his face.
“I see you Jenny Maass.”
We both were grinning when I walked away. It was as if the Holy Spirit had hugged both of us.
He sees you. He does see you. Today. Here. Right now. As your heart hurts. As your darkness swells around you. He sees you.
You may not see His sun shining brightly in your life. But His Son is there. Ready like hope on the horizon. Ready to rise in your heart and life and illuminate your day. Ready warm you, and embrace you, and brighten your every step. He sees you.
I write to you this morning full of His joy and praise. Truly, madly, deeply rejoicing in my heart. Just dancing in His presence. Do I feel like this every day? No. But I am so grateful to feel and experience His love and joy, I had to praise Him with my words and share. Be encouraged by the words of these praise songs, it has changed my life and my mornings.

Can you believe it is possible to praise Him? Now, right now, wherever you are, in your storm, valley or trial?
Just start running. Run to the riches of His love. They will ALWAYS be enough. There is enough for you!
Nothing compares to His embrace! Don’t replace Him with anything. Receive the pure, undiluted Jesus who heals, loves, restores and pursues you!
He is the Light of the world, and He will forever reign!
Jesus! My heart sings your name!
