Captain YOU Planet

You know how we get our whole world caught up in the one person we’re around 24/7? Yep. Ourselves.

“Oh this is your world. It’s all about you. You let us know when you’re all set, Captain YOU Planet.” ~ Brian Regan

So you woke up this morning and it might have gone something like this:

“I just want to sleep in a little more. I worked hard yesterday. I’m tired. I’ll get to that morning routine later. I’ve got to get my coffee, and I don’t want to be late because I’ve got a meeting about my proposal today.”

Yep. Pretty “I” centered, and all about me. We tend to do that when we* have to arrange our* day and get our* stuff done.

I just want to put a little CIA ear bug up under the arm of God’s throne; so I can catch all the comments He must be making when He watches us.

As He greets us with breath and life and health when in the morning when we wake…

“Tired? That’s because I want you to depend on me. I’m here, just ask… I can sustain you. Come to me, I’m enough. Take time out for me, not your coffee run, I will sustain you much longer. Hello? My child? Eyes on Me, eyes on Me. I had plans for you today, it seems they’ve fallen down in priorities. Do you even want to know what they are? Do you want to serve me or self today? After all I’ve done? I’ve already planned your route. I included a few people  that I want you to see and greet and lift their spirits. If you have time, on your rush into your work, that is. Remember when I gave you that job? I didn’t want you worried about your proposal. I already took care of it. I’ve been working in your team and your manager’s heart all night. Trust me child. The results are favorable. I’d love for you to give that to Me so you can praise and thank my work in your life later. I don’t want to see you rush around stressed on your deadlines doing it all on your own. Please, come to me. My agenda is light.”

It is all about us. Until we take us off the throne and place Jesus there instead. How many days do we actually wake up and say, “God whatever you want. My stuff doesn’t matter. I’m all in and on board with you today. Let’s do this!”

Together and teaming up with God you will never fail. Yes, that’s right, you will NEVER FAIL! You are literally guaranteed full blown success every time when you go with God. 100%. He guarantees it.

Nebuchadnezzar found out the hard way. “Look at this, Babylon the great! And I built it all by myself, a royal palace adequate to display my honor and glory!”

Here’s what our eavesdropping bug tells us God said to that, “While the words were still in the king’s mouth, a voice came from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared that the kingdom has departed from you. You will be driven away from people to live with the wild animals, and you will feed on grass like cattle for seven periods of time, until you

acknowledge that the Most High is ruler over the kingdom of men, and He gives it to anyone He wants.” Daniel 4:32

So. Are you on the make God great plan or the make me great plan?

Do you want to be part of a plan that will always succeed and never fail?

When you stray off on your own, and start looking at yourself, and considering how to elevate and puff yourself up… well…good luck with that. You might even ask God, “Hey, help me over here. Make this work out. Smooth this for me and make things go well and look good. Awesome. Thanks God. You’re the best.”

God knows He is gracious. He does give us what we don’t deserve and does mercifully prevent us from experiencing some of the things we should. So your plan may even ride for some time. You might think you are running on your own fuel, but really without God, you’ve been running on fumes the whole time.

make .GOD. great

  1. Wow did I need to hear this! Thank you for sharing, I will be printing this one out and keeping in a prominent place so that I may be reminded that HE is in control and I need to GIVE EVERYTHING to Him who is much more capable of handling MY day.
